Top the onions with the pork in an even layer. They will not be soft yet because you need to finish cooking them. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 6-12 hours or on.

Cook for 6 hours on low. Add in 4 cups of chicken broth or 4 cups of water and 4 chicken bullion I use a powdered bullion and add 4-5 teaspoons to my water. Top with tomato salsa chicken broth garlic cumin and black pepper.

Add any additional seasonings as desired. Serve in tacos or burritos. Cover with salsa verde.
